THEATRE

Production: THE NOTHING MEN
Period: Contemporary
Genre: Psychological-Thriller
Venue: Newtown Theatre
Date: February 2003

The Story:

This story is a twisting tale driven by suspicion, greed and denial which plumbs to depths to which human nature can descend - or be pushed.

Truly a cross genre story that shines. "The Nothing Men" lulls it's audience with a comic beginning before holding them vice like as it drives like a freight train towards its unexpected climax.

A complex character based piece "The Nothing Men" is both comic and tragic, as poignant and touching as it is cruel and heartless. It explores the last two weeks of seven men's lives. Lives that fatally intersect.

Eventually they must all suffer the consequences of their actions in a world that is increasingly becoming a vision of all our futures.

This is a wonderful ensemble piece for any actor wanting to evoke every emotion from its audience.
