A
Taste for Long Pig
Read
what I have to write.
Hear what I have to say.
Never sway, never stagger,
for if you do, beware.
In a group, or all alone,
it makes no difference.
For it can be taken with the least of indifference,
this life of yours.
It can be snuffed in the blink of an eye.
For there is no coming back once you die.
I pray you heed,
and do not scoff.
In the blink of an eye,
it can be snuffed,
it can be taken.
For from the black sleep you will not awaken.
My blood I use for ink.
My skin I use for paper.
I have not long I know,
for soon, I meet my maker.
As I raise my head and look around
I gaze upon this unholy ground.
For it be a cavern that I be in,
it be wretched, it be grim.
I am not alone,
be aware of this.
And it is in my thoughts
that I do wish.
I wish my life had been taken.
That in this hell I had not awaken.
In my pain, and in my terror
I think back to my great error.

Fact
is often stranger than fiction, as Angus MacRooney is
soon to learn. For Angus, who is down on his luck, is
summoned to Scotland to meet a Grandfather he never
knew existed. And it is here in Scotland that Angus
learns of his heritage. A heritage that involves a dark
secret, which is about to come full circle and embroil
him in a diabolical plan for revenge that includes the
recovery of a much treasured long lost item and the
severing of the MacRooney bloodline for all time.
This
is "A Taste for Long Pig", a seething saga
that crosses the thresholds of time and brings the old
and the new together in a terrifying encounter that
will leave all involved either dead or scarred for life.
"A
Taste for Long Pig" - a twisted tale of psychotic
cannibals, incest, murder, revenge and The Book of Fore
Skin.
In
an era of countless horror clones this is a true original,
which brings history's craziest family into the twenty-first
century with a blood-curdling scream that will leave
audiences paralysed with fear.
"Dog
eat dog - man eat man - woman eat woman - man eat woman
- woman eat man. That is the way. That is the new way!"
